The name of your bedroom cottage honors both the Choptank River and the Choptank Native American people featured in James Michener's novel Chesapeake. This non-smoking cottage with your king bedroom offers total privacy.

2. Michener's Beach Cottage Cabana - We renovated Sandaway's original boathouse with 7 windows to give you 360 views of our private beach and lawn. Hear gentle waves as you relax in your private VIP Cabana complete with AC, leather couches, Roku TV, Wi-Fi, mini fridge, electric outdoor grill, and k-cup coffee maker. You will be just steps from the beach and soothing waves. On this private waterfront point you can see the Tred Avon River on your right, and the Choptank River on your left, which flows directly into the Chesapeake Bay!
